This was a must share after it worked so well for my son. I cannot keep this gem to myself. I loved it so much that I made this DIY for a dear friend for her baby shower this past weekend.
It is a must have for sure! Especially since it only takes THREE ingredients and 6 items to make it! As I know you know by now, I am all about simplicity!
So why do I love this DIY Baby Butt Balm so much?
This reason is found in the ingredients.
Tea Tree oil, or Melaleuca alternifolia, is known for its moisturizing properties and its cleansing properties on ones skin. Clearly, this is a must have for your little one!
Lavender not only smells amazing, but it also provides a relaxing scent for your little one.
Lastly the coconut oil is an amazing daily moisturizer that the skin just loves!
These three ingredients combined make for the perfect DIY Baby Butt Balm, but really, who wouldn’t want to just lather this amazing combination all over their skin!
So how do you make this necessity? Simple!
Young Living Lavender Essential Oil
Young Living Tea Tree Essential Oil
Coconut oil- I prefer the brand and type photographed
A glass jar or container to hold it in
First I add 10 tablespoons of the coconut oil into the bowl.
Then, I drop in 6 drops of Young Living’s Lavender Essential Oil and 6 drops Young Living’s Tea Tree Essential Oil.
You can add less if you want a more diluted rub, this is just the ratio that works best for us!
Finally, put the mixture into a glass jar/container.
Really, it is that simple. It cannot get much easier than that!
I use it at every diaper change to keep my little ones diaper area moisturized and happy!
I hope you enjoy your newest DIY essential oil blend!
